Progess on the Construction of the University Building

As the day of the forthcoming opening ceremony on September 8th rapidly approaches, activities on the construction site are in full swing.

Walls have been stripped down to the ground and completly rebuilt in the last months, while construction workers have replaced the old rooftop. Trees have been cut down, windows exchanged and required infrastructure (re-)built.

What was once a ruin is now a modern building, in which the recently founded Wilhelm von Humboldt University Institute will reside.
